Christopher Compo

-Chris is a Licensed Builder and Certified Home Inspector.

- Chris studied Architecture in high school while working for James D. Compo as a laborer and apprentice.

- Chris was on the Honor Roll and Graduated with a 3.7 Grade Point Average.

-Chris has recently completed a full year of training through the National Association of Home Builders  (NAHB) to become a Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR) and a further designation of Certified Aging In-Place (CAPS) 

Chris has also recently completed both training and certification requirements for Green Building in Michigan.  This provides James D. Compo with all of the information necessary to maximize the many benefits available through the Green Building platform. 

- Chris completed a four year union carpenter apprentice school and worked on several different framing crews.

- Chris completed a two year Architectural Technology Program at Schoolcraft College

- Chris has over Thirty Three years of hands-on experience in the industry, including seventeen years with James D. Compo, Inc.

- Chris has both designed and drawn several hundred construction plans for all types of residential projects, from homes to finished basements. Chris is also proficient in the use of CAD (Computer Aided Design) and takes advantage of this technology when designing new projects.

- Chris initiated the organization of the Ameri-Comp Home Inspection Company in 1987.  This comprehensive inspection company has provided over sixteen consecutive years of service to hundreds of satisfied customers.

-Chris' versatility is a result of his extensive experience in framing, carpentry, trim, custom cabinet making, bars design and building and building decks of all types.

- Chris worked for five years in Atlanta (1983-1988) with a predominate high-end custom builder.

-Chris has nine years of experience as CEO of a custom remodeling company, specializing in unique design, attention to detail and superb customer service. 

-Chris and his wife Lisa have five children (Christopher II, Brandon, Jessica, Travis and Spencer) and one grandchild (Christopher III).  Chris continues to be an integral part of the James D. Compo team, heading up the entire Remodeling Division, providing both creative and sensible solutions to our customer base.
